Program Director:  Mary Smith

Program:  Camp A.I.M. (Adventures In Me) is a two-week therapeutic day camp designed to provide children who are victims of sexual abuse a non-threatening and fun environment in which to deal with their issues of abuse.  Camp A.I.M. serves approximately 35 – 40 children, ages 6 to 18, from the Whitfield, Murray, and Dalton City area.

A very comprehensive, structured curriculum of therapeutic stories, art, and movement activities is directed at child sexual abuse issues.  The curriculum is augmented by music therapy and sometimes other forms of creativity directed by trained professionals.

Funding:  This program receives funding from the Nabors to Neighbors Foundation, United Way of Northwest Georgia, VOCA, and private donations.
